Why do organic marketing? 🌱

Trust and Credibility: Organic marketing helps build trust and credibility over time. When a brand consistently provides valuable content, consumers develop a positive view of the brand. This can lead to higher engagement and conversion rates in the long run.

Longevity: Unlike paid advertising, which ends once the budget runs out, organic marketing has a much longer shelf life. The content you create today can continue to engage audiences, generate leads, and drive conversions for months or even years.

Cost-effectiveness: While it does take time and effort, organic marketing can be highly cost-effective. There is no need to pay for ad space or impressions, so your budget can be allocated to creating high-quality content and optimizing your marketing channels.

Brand Awareness and Loyalty: Organic marketing is a great way to increase brand awareness and loyalty. By regularly engaging with your audience through high-quality content, you can establish a strong brand presence and cultivate a loyal customer base.

Complements Direct Response Marketing: Organic marketing can complement direct response marketing by nurturing leads and prospects until they are ready to convert. It can be used to educate, entertain, and engage customers, which keeps your brand top of mind when they are ready to purchase.

Building a Community: Through organic marketing, direct response marketers can build a community around their brand. This not only provides a platform for customers to engage with the brand, but also allows for direct interaction and feedback, which can be invaluable for improving products and services.

MOST IMPORTANT: To find out what is going to convert. If it gets a response in organic, it’s likely to do the same with paid!

Identity Shift:

An identity shift is a transformation or evolution in how an individual or a business perceives and presents themselves, often involving changes in roles, responsibilities, or expertise to align with new goals or aspirations.

An example of a shift is:
Entrepreneurs Who Want To Learn Direct Response

Value Proposition: 📞

A value proposition is a clear statement that explains how a product or service solves customers' problems or improves their situation, delivers specific benefits, and tells the ideal customer why they should buy from you and not from the competition. It's essentially the unique value your offering brings to the marketplace.

Here is mine:
Leverage Direct Response To Make Running A Business Simple, predictable & Fun! (Work in progress!)

Content Strategy: ✍

A simple yet effective content strategy is crucial. This involves regularly producing and disseminating high-quality, relevant content aimed at engaging your target audience and directing them towards the desired action.

Attention: ⚠

Attention here refers to creating and distributing attention-grabbing short-form content. By using platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn, and incorporating provocative thoughts, contrarian views, educational insights, behind-the-scenes content, personal narratives, and offers, you can attract your audience's attention and guide them down the funnel towards your offers.

Attention Social(s) Points to Substack/long-form content:

Go Deep: 🌊

This is about crafting long-form content to provide in-depth information, insights, or stories to your audience. Using platforms like Substack for weekly newsletters or podcasts allows for more detailed content, whether that's thought-provoking discussions, controversial views, in-depth solutions, revealing behind-the-scenes, personal narratives, or valuable offers.

Twitter Tread Framework: 🧵

1. Start with a Hook: Your first tweet should grab attention and make people want to read more. It could be a compelling question, a surprising statement, a controversial opinion, or a teaser of the valuable information to come.

Example: "Are you making this common marketing mistake that's costing you, potential clients? Let's discuss."

2. Deliver Valuable Content: Each subsequent tweet should provide valuable content that keeps your audience engaged. Provide tips, insights, or stories related to your topic. Make sure each tweet adds value and isn't just there to fill space.

3. Use Simple Language: Keep your language simple and straightforward. Avoid jargon and ensure that your audience can easily understand your points.

4. Maintain a Logical Flow: Your tweets should flow logically from one to the next, maintaining a coherent narrative or argument throughout the thread.

5. Break Down Complex Ideas: If you're explaining a complex idea or process, break it down into smaller, digestible pieces. This can make your thread more engaging and easier to understand.

6. Include Visuals: Whenever possible, incorporate relevant images, GIFs, infographics, or videos to increase engagement.

7. Encourage Interaction: Ask questions, encourage feedback, or include calls-to-action to get your audience involved in the discussion.

8. Wrap it Up: Conclude the thread with a summary of the key points or a call-to-action. This could be a prompt for your audience to share the thread, visit your website, or respond with their thoughts.

9. Thread Length: While there's no hard rule, threads that are too long can lose the reader's attention. Aim for around 5-15 tweets for most topics.

10. Spacing Out: Don't post all the tweets at once. Space them out by a few minutes. This can keep the thread appearing in your followers' timelines over a longer period, increasing visibility.

Example Conclusion: "So, to avoid this marketing pitfall, make sure to [summary of points]. Share this thread with someone who needs to see it!"
